Biography
Miftahuljannah Saleh started her career as a patent associate in a Jakarta-based intellectual property rights consultant firm in 2002. She continued her career to be a journalist covering mainly Information & Communication Technology (ICT) news in a nation-wide business newspaper for nearly three years before serving as a government officer in Maritime Telecommunication division of the Ministry of Transportation for about six years.
The holder of Bachelor degrees in Telecommunication Engineering from STT Telkom Bandung (currently IT Telkom) and English for Translation from Open University of Indonesia finally returned to take care of Intellectual Property issues at MAP in April 2013. Other than her formal career in those various industries, Miftah has also been actively engaged on translation/writing/editing, media analysis, and industrial/market research jobs on a freelance- or project-basis for more than ten years.
