Our Managing Partner, Insan Budi Maulana, was attending Hearings (Rapat Dengar Pendapat – RDP) as Intellectual Property Expert together with The Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and Committee II of the Republic of Indonesia Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) which took place in the Kutai Meeting Room, Building B DPD RI, MPR/DPR/Parliamentary Complex DPD RI, Tuesday, 23 May 2023.
The agenda discussed the preparation of views and opinions on the Draft Law (RUU) on Industrial Design that is currently included in the 2023 Priority National Legislation Program.
The changes are made to align the law with developments in national and international law and to provide assurance of protection effectively in implementing and enforcing the law.
